Originally on Phoneclub back in 2005!
1 gallon of dill pickles 1-3 Tablespoons of tabasco (YOU decide!!)
3-4 cups granulated sugar 2-3 cloves of garlic, sliced
Remove the pickles from the jar and cut into chunks. Take out 1 1/2 cups of
the juice from the jar and set aside. To the remaining juice in the jar, add in
the sugar and stir until dissolved. ( It was also suggested to take this remaining
juice out and heat it with the sugar to dissolve and blend, then put back in the
jar.) When cooled, add in the tabasco and garlic, and the cut up pickles.
Also add in the reserved juice - enough to re-fill the jar. Cover and chill for
3 days and then devour!!
It was also a suggestion to get sliced pickles to start with! Saves lots of time!
