2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed/steamed          2/3 cup fine chopped sweet onion

3 Tablsp canola oil                                     3 cloves garlic, minced               

1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce      1 teasp black pepper           1 Tablsp sesame seeds

Optional:     crisp cooked bacon, red bell pepper-cut into strips

In a large skillet, saute beans and onion in oil until tender.  Add garlic, cook for

another minute or so.  Stir in soy sauce and black pepper.  If using, at this time, add

in the bacon and bell pepper.  Heat thru.  Put onto a serving platter and sprinkle with

the sesame seeds.    Serves 8.
