1 cup butter 2 cups diced celery 2 cups diced onion
Saute until golden, about 5-7 minutes.
Spray a 9x13 pan with no-stick spray. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350.
4 quarts dry bread cubes 1 Tablsp salt 1/2 teasp black pepper
1 1/2 teasp dried sage, crushed
1 1/4 teasp dried thyme, crushed
2 cups chicken broth
1-2 large eggs
In a large mixing bowl, combine bread cubes and seasonings. Stir in
the celery and onion mixture and toss well. Add 1 cup of the broth and blend. Add
in 1 egg and 1/2 cup more broth. Stir well. If it seems too dry, add more broth and
the other egg. Put into prepared pan, cover with foil and bake for 35 mins. Remove
foil and bake another 15 mins or until golden brown and crisp.
